Alex Side is Senior Principal, Infrastructure at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario ("IMCO"). He leads a team of professionals focused on direct infrastructure investments, oversees the active management of the direct infrastructure portfolio and covers the power and utility sectors.
Mr. Side has experience investing in power, utilities, and transportation assets across North America, Europe and Australia. Before joining IMCO in 2020, he was a Principal with Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure, where he executed infrastructure investments as a majority equity investor and managed a portfolio of investments. Prior to that, he was a Senior Consultant for the Global Infrastructure Advisory practice at KPMG.
Alex Side has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from McGill University. He is also a CFA charterholder and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
