Michael Nowicki's tasks in the NeXtWind Group are to ensure external and internal accounting, the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and international standards including consolidation, reporting, treasury, the fulfilment of tax obligations and compliance.
Mr. Nowicki has been collecting professional experience in the finance sector for around 25 years. In the early part of his career he worked in tax consulting. After completing his studies in Berlin with a degree in business and accounting administration, he joined the auditing department of the law firm Becker Büttner Held. Here he spent 5 years auditing and advising small to large municipal utilities, including preparing tax reports and calculating construction cost subsidies at all levels of voltage.
For the last 10 years, Michael Nowicki was Head of Finance and responsible for the finance departments of companies in various industries. Most recently, he worked for the world's largest hostel chain, where he and his team of 25 people carried out all finance functions operationally.
