Dean Beine has been part of our company since June 2022. He expands the engineering team and supports the expansion of Technical Management. His core tasks at NeXtWind include ensuring the technically successful operation of our existing turbines and the technical onboarding of new assets. In addition, he helps to prepare the dismantling of old plants and provides support on the way to commissioning our new plants. He also specializes in special topics in the context of electricity marketing and alternative electricity use.
Mr. Beine is no stranger to renewables - from solar energy to wind energy. While working for a well-known solar unicorn in Berlin, he helped to manage the company's rapid growth, particularly by analyzing the faults and performance of photovoltaic systems and storage systems, as well as providing 2nd level support in the event of system malfunctions.
In the area of his academic career, Mr. Beine successfully completed his Master of Engineering in "Mechanical Engineering - Renewable Energies" in Berlin. Here, for example, he carried out a research project that examined the addition of an electrochemical storage system to an existing wind farm. During his undergraduate studies (Bachelor of Engineering) in Wolfsburg, he focused on automotive engineering (specializing in production and environment). During this time, he gained relevant professional experience at an OEM commercial vehicle manufacturer in Salzgitter. In the course of project planning, he was responsible for the optimization of critical production steps in the machining production of essential, large engine-mechanical components. He was also involved in the start-up and ramp-up of fully automated production lines and flexible work cells.
