In order to expand NeXtwind's market position in the field of open space project development, Philipp Schumacher joined our team as Head of Development Greenfield in September 2023. His central tasks are the further expansion and development of the project pipeline as well as the establishment of structures to ensure growth in this area.
In the course of his extensive professional experience, Philipp Schumacher has increasingly focused on opening up new business areas and in particular on securing land for renewable energy projects. In this context, he was able to build up an extensive network, which today serves him in achieving his goals.
Prior to joining NeXtwind, Philipp Schumacher was Head of Land Securing at Iberdrola Germany and was responsible for the contractual securing of wind and PV land as well as the development of this line of business. Prior to this position, he worked for Energiekontor for many years as a project coordinator responsible for the development of wind energy projects across all project phases and also managed the securing of land in Lower Saxony.
Mr. Schumacher took his first step into the world of renewable energies with his involvement in sales as Sales Planning Manager at the wind turbine manufacturer Enercon.
